Taylor Janca

Taylor Janca, co-owner of Amplifying Potential Therapy, is a dedicated speech-language pathologist committed to helping children and young adults thrive across all areas of life. She holds a Bachelor of Science in special education from the University of Missouri and a Master of Science in communicative sciences and disorders from New York University. In addition, she has earned a certificate in cultural and linguistic diversity from Bilinguistics, reflecting her ongoing commitment to inclusive, affirming care.
Taylor is especially passionate about working with autistic individuals, AAC users, bilingual learners, and those navigating executive functioning challenges or difficulties in expressive, receptive, and pragmatic language. Her therapeutic approach is individualized, strengths-based, and deeply respectful of neurodiversity.
Central to Taylor’s work is the belief that authentic communication flourishes in the context of trusted relationships. She prioritizes connection, knowing that meaningful growth happens when clients feel safe, seen, and celebrated.
Taylor encourages each person she supports to share their goals, interests, values, and unique gifts, so together they can develop a communication style that truly reflects who they are. She sees communication not as a checklist of skills, but as a dynamic expression of identity—something to be honored, cultivated, and empowered.

Madison Stompor
M.S CCC-SLP
Madison is a speech-language pathologist dedicated to helping clients develop and grow their communication skills using a multimodal approach, including augmentative and alternative communication (AAC). Madison earned her Bachelor of Arts Degree and Master of Science Degree in Speech-Language Pathology from Elmhurst University. She has experience working with children, adolescents, young adults, adults, and seniors with various communication, cognitive, and swallowing deficits or disorders.
Madison is passionate about working with individuals with autism or other developmental disorders and AAC users. She strives to develop and implement goals that are meaningful and functional to the client and collaborate with families/caregivers and other disciplines. She is a proud advocate for AAC and believes that everyone, despite verbal language abilities, can communicate given the right tools, training, and support.

Kayla Adams
MOT, OTR/L
Kayla Adams is an occupational therapist committed to improving the well-being of individuals across all stages of life. Kayla holds a Bachelor of Science in Community Health from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign and a Master of Occupational Therapy degree from Midwestern University in Downers Grove. In 2024, she earned her Specialist Certification in Functional Vision Rehabilitation for Pediatrics, further expanding her expertise in supporting children with complex developmental needs.
Kayla’s passion for occupational therapy developed through hands-on experience using sensory processing and motor-based approaches to help children participate more independently in meaningful daily activities. She has extensive experience supporting the motor, visual motor, functional vision, and interoceptive skills necessary for successful participation across environments, including effective access to Augmentative and Alternative Communication (AAC). Kayla also incorporates the Handwriting Without Tears® program into therapy to support the development of handwriting, fine motor, visual motor integration, and foundational pre-writing skills through engaging, evidence-based activities.
Kayla’s approach to therapy is rooted in the belief that everyone deserves the opportunity to express themselves and fully engage in their daily lives. She is passionate about collaborating with families and interdisciplinary teams to develop individualized strategies that support communication, independence, and participation. Her expertise in sensory processing, motor development, functional vision, interoception, and AAC access allows her to address the unique occupational needs of a wide range of clients, making her a valuable member of the Amplifying Potential Therapy team. She is committed to empowering each individual to reach their fullest potential and improve their overall quality of life.
Occupational Therapist
Susan Robins, MsEd
Susan Robins, co-owner of Amplifying Potential Therapy, serves as the parent liaison of the practice and manages administration, billing, and scheduling. She is committed to strengthening and growing the community of those who spell as their primary communication modality. She is also driven to increase access to therapies that increase autonomy of apraxic and dyspraxic individuals.
She has a Master of Science in secondary education from Northwestern University and a Bachelor of Arts in English from Albion College. She was an Illinois-certified teacher before raising Gwyneth and Mitchell with her husband Phil. She considers herself an ally of those who are autistic, apraxic, and dyspraxic, as well as those with epilepsy and anxiety.

Adaptive Personal Trainer
Dan Morse, B.S
Dan Morse is an Illinois-certified special education and physical education teacher with 15 years of experience supporting individuals with autism and developmental disabilities. He has spent the past decade at TrueNorth Educational Cooperative providing specialized instruction and adaptive physical education for children, teens, and young adults.
Dan specializes in strength training for individuals with autism and related disabilities, focusing on adaptive fitness and functional strength training to support motor planning, coordination, balance, and body awareness. He uses structured routines, clear communication, and positive reinforcement to create engaging and accessible exercise experiences.
Dan holds a degree in physical education from Grand Valley State University and has completed multiple personal training certification programs. At Amplifying Potential Therapy, he provides individualized strength and movement programs designed to build confidence, independence, and functional carryover into daily life.
