Adaptive Personal Training
Dan Morse offers specialized adaptive personal training at our office in Northbrook, IL for neurodiverse tweens, teens, and young adults. With over 15 years of experience as an adaptive physical education teacher and a background as a certified personal trainer, Dan works with individuals with autism, ADHD, learning differences, and other developmental disabilities to build strength, confidence, and lifelong fitness skills.
These adaptive exercise sessions are grounded in exercise science best practices and are designed to support motor skills development, functional strength, coordination, and overall health. Each session emphasizes progressive overload while respecting sensory needs, emotional regulation, and individual learning styles, making the program both effective and supportive.
Dan creates personalized and flexible fitness programs using a wide range of equipment, including resistance bands, TRX suspension trainers, dumbbells, and bodyweight exercises. This individualized approach ensures that every participant is appropriately challenged in a safe, inclusive, and encouraging environment, helping clients reach meaningful personal fitness goals.
